We currently have two vacancies.

Teaching Assistant - Grade 2

  • TA 2 - Temporary contract until 31/08/27
  • Closing Date for Applications - 11th September 2026 (Early applications are encouraged.  Bredon Hill Academy reserves the right to bring the closing date and interview process forward for a suitable candidate.)
  • Salary - £19,739.00 - £20,051.00 (actual annual salary) Pro rata for the whole year
  • Hours - 32.5 hours per week, term time only. (08:00 –15:00) 5 days per week.

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic teaching assistant with a flexible attitude to support the inclusion of students with a range of behavioural and learning needs.  Experience of working in literacy, numeracy and social intervention programmes would be advantageous.

Bredon Hill is a vibrant school which is over-subscribed in a delightful rural setting.

Lunchtime Supervisor

  • Lunchtime Supervisor - Permanent - Part Time.
  • Salary - Lunchtime Supervisor Grade 1 SCP (3) £24,796.00 per annum pro rata £2,441.00 per year)
  • 5 Hours per week - Term time only.
  • Closing date for applications - Midday Friday 11th September 2026 (Early applications are encouraged.  Bredon Hill Academy reserves the right to bring the closing date and interview process forward for a suitable candidate.)
  • Starting Date - September 2026

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor. The Lunchtime Supervisor role is responsible for securing the safety and welfare of pupils during lunch breaks both inside the school and in outside play areas. Tasks may also include assisting in the Dining Hall, clearing away and supervising lunch queues, as appropriate.

Bredon Hill is a great place to work. We are an over-subscribed middle school in a delightful rural setting. Our staff are highly supportive of each other and our pupils are incredibly well behaved.
