School Uniform

For all pupils from September 2026

• Bredon Hill Academy school blazer
• White shirt
• Bredon Hill Academy tie
• Bredon Hill Academy skirt or grey tailored trousers
• Green v-neck jumper (optional and does not replace the blazer)
• Black tights or plain black socks or plain white socks
• Black flat school shoes – formal-style leather/leather look shoes which can be polished. Trainers with a branded logo and boots are not part of our school uniform.  Please see below for further details regarding acceptability
• A coat during the colder periods and for wet weather

Pre-Loved Uniform

At the end and beginning of the school year, we have a pre-loved uniform sale. We have a large stock of good condition pre-loved school uniform and PE kit. Parents and carers may make a donation for uniform items.  We advertise these sales on our website and via social media.

We also have pre-loved uniform available throughout the school year.  If you would like more information, please email or ring the school office and we will be happy to help you.

General Appearance

Our school uniform standards are high.  We encourage the pupils to ensure that their uniform reflects our policy, our BHA community and the purpose of a uniform:  a sense of identity ‘as one’.  Trousers and skirts must be worn appropriately on the waist, shirts must be tucked into trousers or skirts and ties worn correctly.

For health and safety reasons, hair must be tied back at all times.   Hair wear should be discreet and not fashion accessories. No visible jewellery should be worn except where pupils wish to wear earrings, which must be studs and no more than one stud per ear. Facial piercings are not allowed. Bracelets, necklaces or rings are not allowed. 

Makeup, nail varnish, false nails and gel nails/extensions are not part of our school uniform.

In line with our Safeguarding Policy, Smartwatches are not allowed to be worn.

Please ensure all items are labelled: the school cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged.

For any pupils who may require reasonable adjustments to our uniform policy for SEND, medical or religious reasons, please contact the school.

PE Kit

Pupils will wear their PE kit to school on the days when they have PE lessons timetabled. Pupils are also allowed to wear PE kit if they are taking part in football or rugby as a lunchtime club.

The PE department do have a small amount of spare, freshly-washed kit for any pupil who may forget their kit.

In the months when the field is muddy, we recommend pupils have a spare pair of unbranded shorts, tracksuit bottoms or leggings and socks to change into.

Our compulsory PE kit is as follows:

• Bredon Hill Academy branded House colour polo shirt 
• Bredon Hill Academy branded ¼ zip top
• Navy blue unbranded skort or plain unbranded navy blue shorts or unbranded dark plain tracksuit bottoms or leggings (dependent upon season/weather). Cycling shorts are not permitted.
• Navy blue football socks for football, rugby and hockey
• Sports/trainer socks for other sporting activities
• Trainers suitable for sporting activity (running/court trainers)
• Football boots – to be brought to school when required
• Shin pads – to be brought to school when required
• Mouthguard – to be brought to school when required

Additional PE Kit (not compulsory)

In addition to the PE uniform list, pupils may wear:

• A dark base layer (skins)
• A dark plain beanie hat
• Dark gloves for some outdoor activities
• Bredon Hill Academy branded tracksuit bottoms are available from The School Shop, Evesham and are an optional extra to match the 1/4 zip top
• Bredon Hill Academy branded waterproof jackets are available from The School Shop, Evesham and are an optional extra

Please note that pupils are not allowed to bring in spray perfume, body mist or aerosols. Roll on deodorants are acceptable.
