We have confirmed a number of events which will be happening at Bredon Hill Academy in the run up to the Christmas Holidays
Non Uniform Day: 18th November 2016
There will be a non-uniform day on Friday 18th November. In return, pupils must bring in a donation for the various raffles being held.
Y6: Sweets or chocolate for a sweet tombola
Y7: Gift, toiletries or chocolates for a gift tombola
Y8: Chocolate or bottles for the adult tombola – bottles should be brought in by parents please.
BBC Children In Need: 18th November 2016
Pupils may buy cakes or cookies for 50p from the school kitchen at breaktime. All profits to go to Children In Need. Please note that there will be no toast, crumpets or teacakes served at breaktime on this day.
Mr Taylor will also be running a coin trail around the school. If you have any spare coppers coins lying around please bring them in and we will see how far or even how many times around the school our coin trail will go. Lets see if we can beat previous efforts.
BHA Christmas Fair: 18th November 2016 6.00pm till 8.00pm

BHA Christmas Dinner: Wednesday 14th December 2016
BHA Christmas Jumper Day: Wednesday 14th December 2016
Pupils are invited to wear a Christmas jumper to raise money for the NSPCC. School uniform should be worn but pupils may wear a Christmas jumper on this day instead of their blazer. Pupils may decorate a jumper if they don’t have a Christmas one. Children are asked to wear the jumpers and donate £1.00 on the day which will go to this deserving charity.
BHA Christmas Carol Services: Tuesday 13th December 2016
All pupils will be involved in church services to celebrate Christmas. These will be held in the local village church, St Barbara’s, on Tuesday 13th December. The Year 8 Service starts at 9.00am, the Year 6 Service starts at 11.00am and the Year 7 Service starts at 1.30pm. Please ensure that your child comes to school with a coat for the walk to the church.
