Huge challenge for Lewis
A huge challenge faces Lewis from Year 8 this weekend as he attempts to cycle 100 miles on his bike to raise money for the NHS.
Update - Monday 29th June
Despite torrential rain, two hail storms, a minor fall for Lewis and a puncture for his dad, the father and son team cycled 100 miles around the Cotswolds and raised over £3000 for the NHS. Lewis showed resilience and commitment to complete the event and he showed a steely determination just getting his head down and getting through it.
Well done to Lewis' sister Taegan and his mum too who were their support crew for the day.
BHA are proud of you Lewis. Thank you raising an incredible £3000 for the NHS.
Lewis and some friends are raising money for the NHS by cycling 100 miles around the Cotswolds. They are taking this on with only 5 weeks’ notice and have been training really hard to ensure they can get somewhere close to reaching the magic 3 figures.
The challenge is on Saturday 27th June 2020 and we set off at 0600hrs from Winchcombe and will be heading through the following villages/towns: Broadway, Mickleton, Stratford Upon Avon, Chipping Campden, Broadway Tower, Bourton on the Water, Burford, Bibury, Withington and ending up back at Mickleton.
In total they will cover 103 miles and some 5,500ft of climbing!
Please find below the Just Giving Page, if anyone would like to donate to this fantastic cause.
We wish Lewis and his friends the best of luck.
