Rugby Game vs Liverpool College

On a cold, wet and muddy Friday, Bredon Hill u13s hosted Liverpool College. The pitch was like a bog but that didn't stop either team playing some excellent rugby.

In the early stages of the game, Liverpool had good possession but Bredon Hill defended exceptionally well and whenever they managed turn over the ball, they were ruthless in attack, scoring a number of tries in quick succession.

In the second half, Liverpool managed to put the Bredon Hill defence under quite a lot of pressure by using some of their stronger players more effectively and as a result they scored a well deserved try as Bredon struggled to cope with the size and strength of some of their players. However, Bredon Hill quickly regained possession and always looked like scoring every time they got the ball.

In the end, Bredon Hill won but at times were made to dig deep for the well earned victory. It was a game played of excellent spirit and both sets of players showed a huge amount of respect to each other, the referee and the coaches.

We look forward to hosting Liverpool College next year.
