Requests for the next Belarus Convoy

Plans for the next convoy to Belarus in 2012, organised by the charity Chernobyl 2000, are progressing well.

The list of requirements below is for the 2011 convoy. The new list with updates, if necessary, will be posted shortly. 

The charity Chernobyl 2000 still requires many items for the convoy to deliver to the much needed areas we will be visiting in Belarus. If you have any suitable small items and would like to donate them to Belarus please bring them into school and we will arrange to take them to the warehouse. Every item must be in good condition.
Please contact the office if you have large items and are willing to take them directly to the warehouse.

Items suitable for children to bring into school:

• Clothes for babies and children
• Toiletries
• Nappies
• Sports equipment
• Educational and activity toys (not soft toys)

A more complete list of items that can be directly donated to the charity is given on their website. These include : Disinfectant, Bleach, Bathroom/ kitchen and toilet cleaner, Toiletries (Adult and baby), Feminine hygiene products, Cotton wool, Basic medicine (i.e pain killers) Medical equipment.
