Information for Parents ................... Parent Teacher Association |
|
Parent Teacher Association (PTA) The PTA is a group of parents and teachers who aim support the school and enhance the experience of the pupils. This involves: Raising money to fund projects and provide equipment
Parents of the PTA also help with school activities - such as helping to serve the children’s Christmas lunch, accompanying children to the school carol services, manning the tuck shop for school discos and film nights etc. The time commitment is small – The PTA meets about 4-5 times a year (certainly no more than once every half term). Each meeting lasts about an hour. Parents who cannot attend meetings but would be able to help out at school events are also very welcome. The PTA is a friendly group – very welcoming to new members! If you can offer to help, either by joining the PTA or by assisting at events, please email or call the school office, who will pass your details on to me. If you cannot spare the time to help, please support us by joining the 200 Club.
