The Curriculum

The Curriculum At Bredon Hill Middle school each subject is taught, in the main, by specialist teachers. The children follow a two-week timetable of 50 lessons. This allows us to offer a broad and balanced curriculum to pupils at both Key Stages. Each week is colour coded "green" and "blue". The system affords an opportunity for Year 6 pupils to experience a variety of subjects such as French and ICT, while still fulfilling the requirements of the literacy and numeracy initiatives. The 5-lesson day is split into 3 lessons in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. Each lesson is one hour long. The lesson times are shown on the daily timetable.
